Personal Pivotal Event:
The personal pivotal event i decided to choose that has really been pivotal to me during my time in the junior year is the death of one of my closest family members who is my great grandpa. I grew up with him he has always been there for me and i would always joke around with and be able to watch baseball with him. Over the years i saw him age and he would need help from me when he tried to do specific things like walk to the kitchen and get a glass of water. When i first found out that he was diagnosed with kidney cancer i just cried because i knew that his life would be cut short. The day i found out he passed away that same day i was planning to go visit him to just talk to him to see how everything was going. This was really pivotal because he lived his life to the fullest and he made me realize how short life is. He also made me realize that i should cherish every moment i have with everyone i care about. This was the biggest pivotal event in my junior year because now that he has passed away i can't go to his house and talk about baseball and have someone to just joke around with. I know that i cannot go to his house and go to his living room and watch him sit there on the left corner of the living room couch facing the TV and have either baseball or boxing on. I know that i will not be able to see him and watch him smile when i would talk to him. I would like to conclude this by saying that cherish every moment you have with the people you care about because you may never know when they will be taken away from you. Thank you and i appreciate your time.
